“Wanted….Dead or Alive”

Matthew 26:31-35, 69-75, Ephesians 6:10-18

Seeing how quick and how easy the circumstances we find ourselves in here in America, can change….. and if it came to the place where they started arresting Christians, would you be arrested? Maybe you would say like Peter (cock a doodle do) “I don’t even know the man.” Seriously Church it could come to that very quickly and something you and I should think about. Is there enough evidence to convict me/you? That is a very good question. When the line is drawn in the sand would you step over it? Would you stand up for Jesus?

1 Thessalonians 5:17, Matthew 5:3-16, Joshua 1:6-8, Malachi 3:6-11, Leviticus 27:32, Matthew 7:16, Ephesians 2:10, James 4:6-10, Galatians 2:20, Galatians 5:16-25

Let’s think about what would get you arrested, what characteristics would it take to qualify for you to be arrested? First off, others would have to accuse you of it. Would and do others know for certain you are a real Christian? Or are you a “Secret Agent Christian?” Where no one knows. Are you a witness for Jesus? Have you lead anyone to the Lord? Have you shared the plan of salvation with others or even someone?

Are you afraid, fearful, do you live holy? Praying might be another trait that might get you arrested. How about that? Do you pray to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, in the name of Jesus (without ceasing)? Reading that evil book soon to be outlawed the, “Holy Bible,” also known as the “Word of God.” The Truth.” Night and day, you don’t let it depart from your eyes? Do you give Happily to HIS work like we are commanded, the proper portion?

Is there any evidence of good works, works of real Charity. Charity with no strings attached? Have you submitted, and committed, yourself to God? Are you ready to omit the things of this world? Have you come to the place where you have crucified yourself? If you have being arrested would NOT bother you. They can’t kill you twice. Dying to self is a very, very important trait to proving you are a Christian.

Ephesians 4, Matthew 25:14-30

How about perseverance, or are you blown by every wind of nature? Do you continue with your commitment even when the fire gets HOT? Do you fight the good fight of Faith? Do you push back Satan or does He push you? Do you finish what you start or have you even started? Are you gathering or are you scattering?  Do you run from Church to Church or have you drawn the line in the sand and said this is where I’ll serve Him? Are you Faithful to God and your brothers and sisters in Christ? Can you be depended upon to do what you say? Can you be counted upon to serve when asked? Have you asked God to, “Please Use Me?”

Galatians 5:22-25

O.K. now I’m going to get personal……Are you full of Peace and Joy?

Do people know that about you? Is that a constant characteristic? Are you gentle, kind, and do you stay that way in most circumstances? Are you a long suffer? Can you stand the heat or do you need to get out of the Kitchen? Lol…. Are you a patient Christian? Can you help bear one another’s burdens or are you to wrapped with your own to much to see about other peoples needs.

John 13:34-35, Galatians 6:2, Matthew 22:36-40

Let me ask this one last true convicting trait of a Christian, then I will quit. Do you Love God and Others? With all your heart, mind, soul and body? If you do, you will be doing All the above. Then you might get arrested. They might put out a warrant for your arrest that says: “Wanted Dead or Alive.” Can you be convicted of being a Christian?

1 Corinthians 15:1-4

Do you place your Faith in a God that Died on the Cross? Do you place your Faith in one that shed His blood for you and I? Do you believe that He was buried and rose on the third day? Then tell Others!

Prayer: Fathers thank you for sending your Son Jesus to die for me and the World. To die so that we might have Hope in this world and the world to come. To be saved and be set free. Help us to stand up and be counted for your Glory and for your Honor. (To persevere in All circumstances.) To not be ashamed of you in ALL that we do. Help us to Love you and others enough to share what we have received and gained in Jesus Name. To not be cold or even lukewarm but to be Hot for you. To be a light in this world and not part of the darkness. To be Salt and to Not blend in with this world. To help change and Make a difference instead of conforming to it. God help us to be led of the Spirit and to Live by the Truth. Help us to not be like the world and More like YOU! To take no thought of our Life, but esteem you and others better. In Jesus Name I Pray……………..  Amen!!

“In God We Trust”

Proverbs 3:5-23, Jeremiah 7:4-28, Romans 13:11-14, Ephesians 5:14-21, Galatians 5:16-25, John 4:23-24, John 14:6

What has happened to you America? Where have you gone? Why have you chosen this road? Where is the trust in the God that Has been so Faithful to us? Maybe its because we have NOT been so Faithful to HIM. It time to wake up! Over and over again I try to say something that will jog our Spiritual Awareness as to where we have fallen and the level that we have sunk to. We have gone away from the Truth and now are accepting a Lie. With no Spiritual eyes and No Spiritual ears you have no direction, but now to follow the lie. Satan has deceived you and you will follow anything that tries to say what your flesh wants to hear. Your flesh is your enemy. It wants nothing to do with the Spirit. It is an enemy one to the other if you will. Do NOT Choose the Flesh. It is destined to loose in the end. God is a Spirit and they that worship HIM must worship Him in Spirit and In Truth. No other Way!!

2 Timothy 4:3-4, Philippians 2:5-11, Ephesians 2:12, Colossians 1:27,  1 Peter 1:21

This Country is about to elect a President that will say anything that tickles your flesh. “If it is a problem I can fix it,” they say. All they desire is to be in power, only to inject their agendas and desires on this country. (There is only One that has All the Power in Heaven and In The Earth. Its Jesus!!) They have no love for this country or for you or me and definitely not the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. There is only One God and He is the One that died for you and Me. His name is Jesus. Without Him you have no Hope, America Do Not Loose Hope!!

He is our only Hope. Return to Him and lets put Our Trust back in the God we started out with, and who has blessed us so mightily. Do not let a few who have no Love for Him sway your attention with the things of this World.

2 Corinthians 4:18,  Luke 4:1-8,  Matthew 6:33

It’s the same thing that Satan tried to do to Jesus in the dessert. Nothing has Changed, his tactics are still the same. I will give you all the Kingdoms of this world, the ones that you see. That is not Spiritual Eyes and ears. Remember All that we see is Temporary and All that you don’t see is eternal. Why go for the things that won’t last. Let invest in the Kingdom. It will be eternal. Not on the Kingdoms of this World. Lets put our Trust Back In a God who Loves us so much and wants to be with us Forever. Vote for Spiritual things and not temporary. “In God We Trust.” I do, do you? America Wake UP!!!

Prayer: Father we repent of our lack of desire for the things of the Kingdom and for you. We All have gone our own way. Building our own Kingdoms. Wanting everything our own way. Not the way you have directed us to go. Now we have gotten ourselves into a Mess. Oh God help us to see ourselves. Help us to humble ourselves and return to YOU. You are the only way, you are the truth, and you are Life itself.

You are our HOPE! Help us to return to “In God We Trust.” before its to late. We have lost our Way…..In Jesus Name I pray. Forgive Us!

Several years ago there was a commercial on T.V. put out by an Investment Company named E.F. Hutton, that went something like this, “When E.F. Hutton Speaks, people listen.” Now, I’m not down on E.F. Hutton. I’m focusing on the problem here that man/people listen to what some man says to invest in, more than what God has told us to invest in. We the human race have placed our Faith in a system that is SURE to Fail. You can see it right now out your window. This was predicted or prophesied more than 4,000 years ago…. in the Bible the Word of God (THE TRUTH).

Why does human nature never change? We are determined to do it our own way and always come back to a place of failure. For one I surrender!! I give up!! No more my way Lord!! I want to do it your way!! So I have invested in some pretty good stocks and I’m willing to share this with you. For those of you who have an EAR to Hear, listen to Me please…. This is Free!! It has already been paid for by God Himself and it’s yours. It’s in a Bank that can’t be touched by greed, thieves, inflation, rust, decay, time, takeovers, etc… How? By Faith, that is what you use to invest in these Stocks and it is yours. What? The dividends or the payback, for the principle or the investment. I’m telling you the TRUTH they are out of this World. They pay very well with NO RISK. So here is my picks or “Investment Advice.”

“Friday Is Payday or Is Payday Just Fry Day?”

Matthew 10:27-28, Revelations 1:18, Luke 16:19-31

I don’t mean to be crude folks but somebody has got to get the attention of fallen man. There is a Heaven and a there is A HELL!! How many of you want to go to Heaven? How many of you want to go to Hell? Everybody wants to go to Heaven….. But not everybody believes there is A HELL!! Everything in God’s economy has a opposite. Why? We would never know we needed the Good if we didn’t have the Bad.

Heaven… Hell Sweet… Sour Evil…. Good Hot… Cold Hard…. Soft Hungry… Fed White… Black Night.. Day Light…. Dark Dry… Wet Windy… Calm Happy… Sad Sick… Well Thirsty… Not Thirsty Short… Long Laugh… Cry Rich… Poor Life…. Death Skinny…. Fat Sharp… Dull Lie….Truth Wise…Un Wise Happy…Sad Big…Little Believer… Un Believer Saved… Lost Righteous…Un Righteous

You get the idea? Everything has its opposite. Don’t fool yourself, there is a Hell and there is a payday for the cost OF Sin… Which Is Death. Death is the separation from life. Romans 6:23 “The wages of Sin Is Death.” Life is God Himself. Hell is the separation from God and ALL that is Not of God. Today God rains on the just and the unjust.

Joshua 24-15, John 3-16, Romans 3:21-31, Acts 10-39-46, Galatians 6:7-10,  2 Corinthians 5:5-10

Today, because of God’s Grace, He has given Man the Choice to Accept His offer of Salvation and the forgiveness of Sins through His Son Jesus Christ. Your will and my will, which is in the Grace of God, is the Hindering Factor. You have to make a choice to choose to accept His Gift and Offer of forgiveness for those Sins or Not.

Most of us get a payment on Friday for work we have done through that week. Some of us get paid on the 1^st or the 15^th of a month. Regardless, we all receive something for the effort we make whether good or bad. The same, while we are here on earth by God. We will receive what we plant physically and also Spiritually. We will be judged for what we do in the body and by the New Birth inside of us. Whether it is there or Not.

Romans 6:15-23

The only way to reap Spiritually is through Jesus Christ without Him you can do Nothing. After you receive Christ you are then judged by what you do with Him. So its time we go to work. Wake Up and get Ready For Work!!

What will your Check Look like? Will you have enough to Pay?

Jesus Paid It ALL….“Fry Day Is Coming and Friday Is Payday.”

Prayer: Father God, thank you for sending your Son Jesus Christ to die for my/our Sins. Lord thank you for our free will and the freedom to choose how we are to live and die. You are a good God and a True God and the only God for man to live and die by.

No other god will help us or Love us the way you do. Thank you for the Cross, thank you for the blood, thank you for your death and then your resurrection from the dead. Thank you for the Word, and Thank you for Our Faith In You!! Thank you for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It’s is in His Name We Pray. Amen!

“Extra! Extra! Read All About It” (”Men Defy God…..Again”)

Exodus 20:1-17,   1 Thessalonians 1:5-10,   2 Timothy 2:15, Joshua 1:7-8,  Joshua 24:14-16

All the problems and troubles that you hear about on the News, or read about in the Newspaper, are the Sum total of Man doing things his way. This is nothing new that we were not told in the Bible. We were warned that if we forgot God and went our own way, this would happen. Man has consistently defied God and consequently has gotten himself into a heap of trouble. They/We have served Gods other than the One True God and each time those other gods let him down. Man put his faith into these other gods and they became idols and idols will not help man. Never have, never will! It is one of the ten commandments to have, “NO others gods before Me.”

2nd Corinthians 5:1-21 If we would just read and study our Bibles, which by the way is more current than your newspaper, we would know what is going to happen to Man when he puts other gods first. Also we are given examples as to the outcome of others who have previously defied our God. Not a pretty picture for sure. Human nature has not changed, but God can change Nature of a Human. He can give you a New Nature. Really!! You actually can become a New Creature. One that never before existed. Amazing Isn’t It?

Matthew 24:1-51 Man doesn’t make for good news as a rule, and it seems that good news doesn’t sell. All we read about in the Newspapers and hear on the News stations is Bad News. Evil reports, bad economic news, war, rumors of war, hatred, angry people, rage, stealing, robbing, killings or murders, weapons of mass destruction, power struggles, blame games, abortions….. Had enough? Well, I have. I must tell you the Truth! There is some good news that you can read for a change and it will give you the right answer to today’s problems. That’s why they call it the Gospel…. The Good News!!

Its current, its accurate, and its the truth and I’m tired of the lies. How about you? Then Quit Defying God.

Prayer: Father God we have done it again, we have gotten ourselves into a heap of trouble. Lord please forgive us and heal our land. Heal your people, open their eyes and ears to hear and see the Truth. Let us be aware of where we have gone wrong and what to do to fix it before it is to late. Help those of us who see the problem to be strong enough and bold enough to stand for the truth in this hour that we live. You have told us, warned us, revealed to us, and encouraged us to study and read your word. It was and still is the answer to ALL of man kinds problems and needs. We need you Lord God, please forgive us.

“Bail Out Plan…..My Grace Is Sufficient For Thee!!”

HEY WORLD!!!….. Hey America!!…. Hey Presidents!!…. Hey Kings!!…. Hey People!!…. Hey Believers!! God is in Control…

Fear Not!!! What you see going on is just God’s Grace. He is trying to get the attention of man kind to quit serving mammon or money. The world is so wrapped up in the financial money system… “Their God,” that HE, the One True God (Jesus), is trying to get your attention before it is to late. Wake up!! His Grace is Sufficient. Yes I call this HIS Grace. He hasn’t wiped us (mankind) out and He could…. HE Loves Us. This is HIS way of warning us and trying to wake us up.

Lord knows we need to wake up…. Amen! Turn from your evil ways, humble yourself before an Almighty God and begin to seek His Face.

I know many of you say if God is in this, what kind of a God is He? If HE is so loving and kind why would He let this happen to us? Because He has given man His own Free Will… We have a Choice as to How we are to live and do. Boy look at How we live and do. Pretty bad Huh? This is not God’s Fault; it’s the Fault of SIN…. greed, selfishness, pride, arrogance. The ME first mentality. I’m going to get mine first, get mine before you do, to Heck with you, I was here first.

I worked for it it’s mine. What a completely wrong and backward way to think. It’s not about you or me, it’s about HIM! He needs to be first. We need to give All to Him and He will give us what we have need of. It’s called TRUST HIM!! “He will supply All of our needs through His Riches in Glory….. Through Christ Jesus.” You don’t believe it? Well I can tell without even knowing you, That you haven’t tried it or Trusted Him.

Your answer to all of this: …………You Call It A “Bail Out Plan.”

My answer I call it: ….. “His Grace.” It is sufficient for you and me…… It is enough, and will pay ALL the bills plus a lot left over. It has fed the multitudes, clothed many, healed the sick, and saved millions. It bailed me out when I was destitute and there hasn‘t been a melt down of His economy yet. Guess what, there won’t be because; HE OWNS IT ALL….DUH!! Go hire your bookkeepers, and get your calculators all fired up, and download those big computers with all that information, “man made information,” placed in them. Try to figure out the bottom line. It doesn’t take a very smart man to tell you the answer. God Owns It All and HE WINS.

But… “His Grace Is Sufficient For THEE.” It’s the best “Bail Out Plan” Yet.

Prayer: Father, God! Thank You for your Grace and Mercy to us (mankind.) We owe you our lives and all the love we can give back to you. You are a Good God and the One and Only True God. Lord forgive us for our greed and selfishness against you and one another.

Help us to see the err of our ways. Open our eyes God so that we might see the Truth! Thank you for All the trials and tribulations you allow to come our way to try to get our attention. Lord we need a Savior and you are that Hope. Help your people to stand up with boldness to proclaim to a lost and dying world… “Thus Sayeth the Lord!!”…….In Jesus Name I Pray……………….Amen!

Due to time constraints I won’t be able to do them.  I put a lot of time into the devotionals in order to make sure they are accurate and to hear from God. So, I’m suspending them this week. “Do Not Disturb”

Romans 13:1-14, Ephesians 5:11-18, Matthew 22:37-40, Philippians 2:1-5, Romans 12:1-2

It seems to me that there are too many people in this world who have the sign hanging on the door…..”Do Not Disturb.” I’m Talking both Christian and Non-Christian in regards to their approach to God and to Others.

Today folks don’t talk to their neighbors, don’t get involved with each others problems, skeptical if someone says hi or talks longer than 30 seconds to you. If we see someone who has a problem on the side of the road, or anywhere for that fact, we just don’t seem to want to take the time to help. Our schedule is set at to fast of a pace with to many irons in the fire, which just wouldn’t leave enough time for me/you to get all I have to do to get done today. It’s sad to say that the Church seems to be no different. We have conformed to the worlds pace and ways. The only determining factor for you and I to be Christian, is that we don’t look like the World. The world is a world of self, with a me first mentality, full of greed and selfishness. I’ve got mine now get yours. I earned this with my own two hands….. Its mine, with a trust in what we have mentality. As long as I have my stuff I’m O.K. so why should I give it away?

The laborers are few, and yes Jesus knew what he was talking about. Church, we need to take the, “Do Not Disturb,” sign off the door…. I might expect this from the world, but NOT from a “born again,” Church. We have lost the determining factor as a real true Christian. LOVE…..Love for God, and a REAL….Charity type of Love. A Love that would bring Glory to God and not to ourselves. A Love that “disturbs,” our “Comfort Zone.” A love beyond our relatives, beyond our friends, beyond our boat so to speak kind of Love. One that would have to reach into our surplus, or money sack, not one out of our extra or the little bit left over. Something that might make us a little tired in well doing for others and not always for self. Not giving out of the out of date stuff now it time to clean out and make room for the new in the way stuff. Maybe give your best for others for a change stuff.

If Jesus were here what would you do for Him? Would you give Him your old stuff, your extra stuff, or just talk to him if it’s convenient, give Him only out of your spare time? Help Him if he had a flat or just drive by? Give him a place to stay if He needed it or help Him if he were in need? Give Him a cup of water if He were thirsty? Well that’s who we are doing it to and for. Him. When we do all that we do for others, Jesus told us we are doing it to Him. Have I “disturbed” you yet? Well I’m trying to, it’s time we wake up and get about the Father’s business. He will be here to get us, very soon. I’m afraid we will miss Him because we have the sign out on the door….

“Do Not Disturb.”

Romans 12:1-21

Father: Lord help us to awake out of our sleep. Help to know the Hour in which we live. The time is at hand and is even at the door. Help us to become the Church once again. To do the first works…. The works you did. Forgive us of our complacency, and apathetic approach to the good works you have asked us to do for you. Help us to renew our minds and get the mind in which you possessed and left with us. Help us Lord to NOT be conformed to this world, but to be separate. Thank you for coming to live in us and to help us with the work that needs to be done. “Disturb,” us Father if that is what it takes to get the job done. In Jesus Name I Pray………Amen!

“Who’s Knocking on the Door?…..You Get it I’m Sleeping.”

I remember the song…“I Did It My Way,” and all I want to say is look at what you/we have done by doing it our/my way. Why does everybody want to do it their way? Out of All the billions of people we have had pass through this planet and to all of those who did it their way I say thanks. Look what we have done. The whole sum total of what you see in this world today, all the wars, murders, hatred, evil, financial debacle, greed, lust, drugs, abortions, and the list goes on is due to doing it our way. I’m sick of “Doing It My Way.” I found out some time ago I didn’t know what I was doing and I needed some help. So I asked for some help and got it. All I had to do is STOP “Doing It My Way!!” So now I have made a choice to…………… “Do It His Way.” So why don’t you do your part and quit doing it your way? Your way is as bad if not worse than mine was. We need a…….. “CHANGE,” alright. Now that was said righ!!…Actually that’s the only thing that has been said right, that I’ve heard. A Change back to the original plan…..Genesis 1:1 “In The Beginning God.” I think its time we start over and quit “Doing It My/Your Way.” Lets get back to the original way in the beginning….God is Love. Lets do it that way!!

It your choice and mine so lets vote for a Change. Back to the beginning please…..God Is Love!! “He Did It His Way.”

Prayer: Father I’m so sorry for the way I have been in wanting things my way. Help us all to see the mess we have made and to go back to the original plan and make the right choice to not choose the wrong tree that you said to leave alone. The tree of good and evil. I choose this day and pray that many more choose to do it your way. The tree of good, the way of Love and Obedience to you. You have the truth!! Just the right plans and answers to all of our problems. Help man to see that “Doing It My Way,” is not…“Doing it Your Way.” You have made it our choice….I vote You Lord!! In Jesus Name I pray………………………..Amen!

“Another Day Another Dollar”

Jeremiah 29:11, John 10:7-11, 1 Corinthians 10:31, Hosea 4:6, Proverbs 4:22, Proverbs 3:1-8, 3 John 1:2, Deuteronomy 30:19, Joshua 24:15

Oh how sad of an approach and outlook to everyday life. What a mundane, boring, reason to live or really just exist. Life was meant to be more than that and our life should have a vision and a purpose.

Our Creator God designed everyone to have a plan and a purpose for life……Not just, “Another Day Another Dollar.” We were put here on this earth to glorify God. To do what His Will for our life is and not ours. Many of us will never know what that is for our life and we will perish never knowing what an awesome Abundant life God had for us. He means for us to have Life and have it more abundantly. To be in health and to prosper even as our soul prospers. To have love, joy, peace and all the fruits of a Spirit Filled life. The problem is that we won’t Choose life. Many of us think we have but we/you have not. Life is in the Spirit and in the Truth.

The Truth is His Word.

Revelations 3:20

Choosing Him and His Word All through His Son Jesus is the answer to this life. Jesus is the Door….All you have to do is knock and come in, many times, if you will listen, He is doing the knocking, just let Him in. If life to you is “Just Another Day and Another Dollar” you have missed the whole purpose and reason for life itself. You will perish and never know the truth.

Actually choosing this new life is like becoming “Born Again,” into a new Family. The Father of this Family is very wealthy and has a very large business and you now work for Him. The pay is awesome and the benefits are out of this world. To learn your new job just do what your new big brother does. He will teach you, guide you and lead you as you go. He also is very kind, patient and actually very loving….. You will like working for Him too, he is very Humble to have such power willed to Him. If you do something wrong he will gently remind you the right way to do it. Try it, you will like it!! It’s not like just…….“Another Day Another Dollar.”

Prayer: Father help us to know and learn the meaning to life. Help us to choose real life and move into our plan and purpose that you have designed for each and every man and woman, boy and girl. YOU are no respecter of person and YOU change not. Teach us, through Jesus Christ, to think of others and not ourselves. Cause us to focus on everyday as being a gift from you and another day to glorify you. Help us to have the mind of Christ and to be about Your Business. The wages and benefits are out of this world.
